I just looked at your profile page. You’ve got a lot of stuff there, and I want to mark it so I look at it later. There is a 7th-grader at the school where I work who is very interested in Sudan, WWII, and other subjects related to all of this. I don’t know if he’s ready to handle knowing the truth about all this, but maybe if I know more I can gently help him realize there are terrible things that politically-motivated people are trying to keep hidden from everybody.
My stomach is in knots right now, just thinking about this.
for the same reason that they embrace the Democrat party. Segregation, slavery, rights violations, etc. were all done by Democrats, mostly in the south.
Thank you, if you look at the apathy at the UN (vis-a-vis Darfur), you know who pulls its strings, and WE pay the bill.
Liberals tell us all cultures are equal... I have no idea what this one is equal to - but I’d go with “hell”... if pressed.
Why would they?

What can we do? This is much bigger than even the Holocaust in its scope, and when you factor in killing people to get their body parts to sell and raping boys until their insides burst, you’re talking the same level of heinous atrocities in some areas. What can we on this side of the world do about this?
Reminds me of how abuse victims spend the rest of their lives being attracted to abusers, trying to prove they can win the love of their abuser.
Which also reminds me of when I used to have nightmares. Sometimes I would try to stay asleep, thinking if I just waited long enough there would have to be a happy ending. There never was.
Makes me wonder how much the psychology of abuse - real abuse - comes in. The entitlement mentality seems to think that a person is being abused if they aren’t given everything they want, but that’s sort of like how abused people deal with those who try to intervene to stop the dysfunctional relationship they have with their abuser. They side with the abuser and place blame on the one who wants to stop the abuse. Maybe they like being a victim - makes them feel more “righteous” if they’re the victim. Or maybe they think they can somehow be good enough to get real respect rather than abuse.
I bet it’s more like sexual abuse than any other kind though. The kind of sexual abuse where an adult tries to convince a child that the touching they’re doing is really either love or fun, when the child in their gut knows it’s just using them. The welfare class likes the gifts and attention they get on the plantation, but it seems like they’d have to know that it’s poison that has rotted out their culture, wouldn’t they?
