Let them use this in any arbitrary or questionable manner. The can do so - once!

Last time I checked, a statute does not supersede the U.S. Constitution and the protections therein.

However, there is already precedent for suspending Habeas Corpus — Abraham Lincoln did it during the Civil War.

Obama is no Abraham Lincoln.

Constitution isnt working very well anymore. It keeps getting reinterperted.
