Rand Paul Warns Voters about Gingrich and Romney
EconomicPolicyJournal ^ | 12-10-2011 | Robert Wenzel

Rand says of Romney:

He's moderate, northeastern, don’t-rock-the-boat Republican, and I think everyone in the party clearly understands that.

As for Gingrich, Rand says:

...what worries me is that the voters are being sold a bill of goods in Gingrich.

Gingrich began his career as a Rockefeller Republican from the liberal wing of the party. And though he has often spoken and occasionally acted like he left that wing, it is clear from his flip-flops and multiple “apologies” that his heart is still there...Gingrich is not from the tea party. He is not even a conservative.

He is part of the Washington establishment I was sent to fight. He has been wrong on many of the major issues of the day, and he has taken money from those who helped cause the housing crisis and create millions of foreclosures.

“Pro-family” legislators aren't banging a young staffer on a House conference table while married to another woman.

Newt Gingrich's well-known extra-marital affairs are now in the distant past. I take the measure of the man who has repented, asked for forgiveness from God and, as Christ instructs us to "...sin no more."

And he has said, "Any leader should seek God's guidance. The teachings of the Church inform my thinking about solving earthly problems.” Although no one (aside from Newt Gingrich himself and, of course, the Lord) can be certain, it seems to me that his repentance and Christian faith is genuine.

Yes, Rand Paul is right. I never thought I’d see the day FR went gaga for Gingrich.

Yes Rand, you’re right. The country would be SOOOO much better off with a troofer running the show.

You should shut up before you lose all credibility. Oh wait.....

So is it your view that a small cabal of opportunistic neocons who wanted to use 9-11 to promote war with Iraq (which had nothing to do with Bin-Laden) are the same thing as “America.” Do you really believe that nonsense?

Prove your slimy smear that Ron Paul is a “truther” e.g. believes that the American government intentionally murdered thousands of Americans on 9-11.

You’re telling the wrong guy that BS.

I’ve been watching those Rocke socialists for a longer time than you’ve been alive. You need to get up to date on all the solid conservative Republican congressmen that had their careers ended by Noot and Armey.

This false hero worship is sickening.

You know that Rand Paul hasn’t made any effort to campaign for his father; just call’em straight, like he does.

Um, isn’t Rand Paul the one who stood on the Senate floor and said if you’ve got more than 7 days of food in your house, you might be a terrorist?

If he is, then he’s a bigger nut than his Dad, and I don’t listen to nuts.

He was warning people that there were laws that said if you had more than 7 days of food stored you could be suspected of being a terrorist. He was warning people about our military arresting American citizens. He was not in favor of this.
