The Michelle Bachmann Presidential campaign has released a new video that claims the Minnesota congresswoman is poised to win next month's Iowa Caucus.

In the video, campaign manager Keith Nahigian outlines Michele Bachmann's election strategy -- a path that leads to victory in Iowa and propels her to a South Carolina win.

The campaign also sent out a morning press release, touting the campaign's organizational strength in Iowa:

Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann today announced her Iowa campaign has county chairs in 91 of the state's 99 counties and precinct leadership in every county. The announcement is further evidence of Team Bachmann's exceptional grassroots organizational strength, one of which has been gaining significant momentum as the Iowa caucuses near.

A path to victory for who, because IMO at this point she is toast.
Ran the race but didn’t gain traction.
That’s the way it goes.

No, no, Michelle. LOWER expectations, don't raise them. Then when you exceed them, you get momentum.

I like her optimism, but she has a long way to go to win this thing.

I hope she understands that she may have to answer for her previous gaffes. Success in this will go a long way in getting her back in the race. I'm supporting her on principle and hoping she can overcome her gaffes.

She is probably trying to fundraise in order to stay in the race. It would be hard to lower expectations further...she is at the bottom of the polls.....with nothing to lose. You have to keep your name out there somehow! Glad to know she is a fighter...and frankly I’m suprised at how quickly people have jumped to Newt. People were for the most Conservative canidate now they seem willing to settle for anyone who can beat Obama and isn’t named Mitt Romney! LOL

You know what? I've given this Bachmann candidate every chance to gain respect but all she does is talk down on the other candidates when really she should be focusing in on that empty suit in the White House.

I'm becoming tired of her and I hate to say it so bluntly because there are very good fellow FReepers who support MB. I do not wish to offend.

Bachmann is clinically insane/delusional if she believes this.

I suppose. It would be better if she didn't have to get coverage only by attacking other candidates. Her lack of attacks against Romney make her look like she's eyeing the VP spot. I think in reality she simply figures she can get more votes out of the others' hides. Unfortunately for her, it doesn't work that way.

I would like to see Romney around 4th in Iowa, with a Perry or Bachmann upset, a Squeaker for Gingrich in NH, and loses to whomever by Romney in SC and FL, which would require him to drop out of the race.

Long way to go? Talk about optimism!

I would put her chances of victory at or below zero.

Wait a minute. Didn’t Rick Santorum say he was going to win Iowa?

You’re probably right, but I prefer to wait until votes have been cast before writing anyone off. Until then, I’ll base my support on principle, and voting consistently against raising the debt ceiling and standing up to the homosexual agenda are principles I can support.

No, people do not want another cult of personality in the White House. They want some one who is going to be a conservative and actually has the ability to turn ideas into policy. Not some one who only discovers issues during the campaign.

What I love is whenever any of these candidates appear, the announcer announces in his best Don Pardo voice:

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN - THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!"

Uh, huh.

I actually like Bachmann's positions and find her smart and hardworking. It's her intensity that scares me.

But the thing that told me she had no chance of winning was her speech in Waterloo after the Iowa straw poll. She sent her aides to tune the lighting just for her, came in like a movie star, gave her speech, and then bolted without working the room. Bad idea...particularly for Iowa.

I agree with you 100%. There is only one candidate out there that has taken swipes at the others. She started with Pawlenty-OK I thought, she has inside info on him, then, it was Perry, then after he self destructed, she went after Cain and REALLY slimmed him, and yet, I have yet to see any proof whatever on those personal attacks in which she was gleefully engaged in. And now, its Gingrich. She slammed Gingrich on his immigration policy, yet in the Townhall debates, she stated that she was for the very same thing Gingrich was stating!

Her campaign is in its last stages, and she knows it. This is a bet-the-farm move. She'll be out of the race after her non-first-place finish in Iowa, unable to maintain fundraising or viability.

Hey, there's three and a half weeks to go to Iowa. She supposedly has a very solid ground game for the caucuses. Watch her in tonight's debate - if the lefty moderators give her a chance to say much - read her book, and don't bury the most principled conservative in the race (well, maybe tied with Santorum for that distinction) and the one who has the least baggage. No one can match her in her unequivocal call for repeal of ObamaCare and in her staunch advocacy for enforcing immigration laws against illegal aliens. It ain't over 'til it's over!

It's her intensity that scares me.

If all the other Pubbies in Congress shared her intensity, we might have mitigated more of the damage that the 'Rats are doing in a variety of policy areas.

Bachmann's intensity sets her apart from the crowd in a very positive way.

You’re right about Michelle having the least baggage.
I do like her strong stand against Omuslim care and illegal immigration.
Maybe they think a woman that beautiful just couldn’t have the smarts to be prez.
