This race is still wide open.

There is a huge "anybody but Romney" contingency that is still making up it's collective mind and Gingrich could gaffe himself out of the race.

I certainly think he could. There will be a reevaluation as Newt surges.
Look at what you get if you choose RINOmney. Look at what you get if you
choose Newt. Look at what you get if you choose Perry.

As the early primaries unfold, voters in many states will split into a number
of candidates.

It is far too early to decide and the primary process is different this year.
It will be slower and winner won’t take all. This should favor the candidates
with staying power - money, organization, popular ideas.

Will Perry blow his second chance?

Only time will tell.

Personally, I only know I won’t be voting for RINOmney ever. I won’t be voting
for HuntsRINO ever. Newt, eh. I’m open after that.

Phfsssst! The fire is gone. MSM 2 Repubs 0. The only two candidates with fire in their Bellies are gone, fizzeled out by the MSM who are gloating in their cubicals because they have the Repubs spinning like out of control tops. They are probably waiting for the next couple of rounds for a complete hat trick.

Could Perry stage a comeback?

Is he missing? I actually thought his performance last night was one of his best yet.

So, the rest of the viable conservative slate on the ticket self-destruct in one manner or the other and we are all of a sudden to supposed to traipse back to Perry? Come on! This man is a public relations nightmare! He’s had two, three, four chances! He cannot represent himself clearly and concisely. A man that cannot do that is unknowingly betraying his conflicting base beliefs. I don’t believe he is our salvation for one minute. Pretty has to do more than just stand there.

Sure, there’s a little bit of getting one’s sea legs in a first go at a presidential level campaign. But Romney, Gingrich and Perry are all in their ‘60s and they’ve been pols running in campaigns for years.

The idea that Mitt is going to suddenly get a personality, Newt integrity, or Perry a brain is laughable. At this point, these guys are what they are.

Perry’s the only reasonable choice, IMO. I dont care that he cant string a debate together, hes the most conservative candidate with experience who can win. My G-d, we cant be nominating Gingrich, he cant win and he’s really a lousy character....

Considering Gingrich will undoubtedly say something off-the-wall and blow himself up like a big greasy bomb, there probably will be an opening for some candidate to jump into. Normally, I’d think Perry would be the one to take advantage it, but he’s just been such a unbelievable stumblebum and his approval ratings are abysmal beyond belief. Even worse than perhaps warranted, and I’m saying that as someone who doesn’t much care for him to begin with.

There was some poll a week or two ago that gave Perry’s favorability rating (with the public at large) at only 25%. Which I find ironically amusing, because when Palin’s ratings were 15 points higher than that, there were a slew of posters saying it reflected how intensely unpopular she was and that she shouldn’t even think about getting into the race!

Could Perry stage a comeback?

Yeah, lets vote for another open border, pro-illegal alien Texan.

That's going to happen...sure.

500,000 illegals march on Dallas Texas, 2006:

Under Rick Perry as Governor of Texas, and President Bush, from Texas at the Federal level, 500,000 illegal aliens march on Dallas Texas, waving foreign flags in their faces, while making demands and threats.

Since there is no way that Obama will ever debate Newt that means his debate skills advantage is not so important.

And since Perry’s debate expectations are so incredibly low that all he would need to do is show up to break even he gets the debate advantage.

I will support and vote for either Newt or Perry, I will not support MittWitt....not ever.

I hope Perry gets the nomination.

You've been posting about his comeback multiple times per week for months.

He's been dead since he opened his mouth in each one of the first three debates, and he'll stay dead (in the polls).

He needs to pull out now and stop embarrassing himself.
