In fact for a couple of years I worked in the division that designed the USPS "long life vehicle" ~ the main design engineer on that was a chap named David Phillips.
He'd been assigned the task of reviewing, correcting and adjusting the preliminary design submitted by AMC. Guy sat next to me.

And me, I was the one working on every brand of car that came in and was never stumped and to me, it was just a way to pay for college but now I realize I was wasting my time, I could have done what you did and sit next to a college grad and become an expert that way.

I'm giving you a break because it is clear, you've got some mental issues that need to be dealt with and I take no pleasure in that pronouncement. Get help, if you really worked for the USPS for forty years, you must have a decent plan, use it. If you have a problem where mental function is deteriorating, the new drugs may stop the decline but they can't gain back what is lost so get help ASAP.
