You wrote this, did you not?
Why do you need to excerpt your own article?
Worried you might sue yourself?
uuuugh...
Equating politicians to Biblical figures is usually a sign of doom for that person. It sets them on too high of a pedestal to where they can never meet expectations.
These are politicians we are talking about, not saints. Politicians are one step below televangelists and one step above used car salesmen.
Thank you for this post.
I will reread.
Grace and Peace.
We should go with Bachmann, although Gingrich, Perry and Santorum are honorable mentions
State-controlled media has run out of flavors-of-the-week, so they have to resort to recycling.
Michelle lost me with her unbiblical quote: “What happens when you turn 999 upside down?” Anyone who misuses Scriptures for personal gain will never rise to the top.
Spare us, O Lord
This whole article is so poor on so many levels. I wouldn’t normally reply but whoever wrote this should not be pitching God and things of God around so he could make up a situation that didn’t exist (how many of you evangelicals knew that we all had buyer’s remorse about a woman being president and that maybe it wasn’t right? Oh please.) so he could say Michelle will come back now that we all know that God okays it. The writer should stop using God’s Word to set up his political musings.
I am a conservative evangelical Christian, and hang around with the same. We’ve had numerous political debates together.
I’ve never even heard anyone question whether a woman could be a president.
This is a non-issue with Christians, be they evangelical or otherwise.
Not gonna happen.
Interesting analysis.
MB is my fav. I hope you are right.
There’s actually another woman out there I could more easily see taking out bad guys by hammering tent pegs through their heads. If you know who I mean and I think you do.
For the balance of the day, I will reply to a thread on another thread. This should be interesting.
No. The setup screen is in the router itself. Just log in and you should see setup somewhere. About midway through, the RADIO ON / RADIO off button is in there. You will probably find that the radio is off.
Deborah was a prophetess of Israel who the people came to know as a Judge. She called Barak to her to let him know that he was abdicating his duty before The LORD and that she knew that The LORD had called him to a battle that he would win against Sisera the captain of the enemies army. Sisera refused to go into the battle unless Deborah went with him, which she did.
During the battle Sisera got away from him and ended up at Jael's tent. She lured him into her tent (he thought she was an ally) giving him milk and rest. While he rested she snuck up him and drove a nail through his temple. Jael was one of those wise women of the Bible who knew to throw her lot in with The Living God. She became a heroine of Israel and deserves to be recognized as such.
Having two women who stood up, because the man was not performing his duty as The LORD called him to, might amen the article more than one faithful and courageous woman does. Because Barak would not do his duty before The LORD as a man, he did not "man up", The LORD would not allow him to have the glory of killing the enemy but let it go to a woman, Jael. Two woman were called to fill the place men should have filled, Deborah a judge and prophetess, was needed to go with Sisera, essentially holding his hand, in order for him to go into battle and Jael killed the captain of the opposing force. It it interesting that we have two Conservative women stepping up the political plate today.
