You wrote this, did you not?
Why do you need to excerpt your own article?
Worried you might sue yourself?
uuuugh...
Equating politicians to Biblical figures is usually a sign of doom for that person. It sets them on too high of a pedestal to where they can never meet expectations.
These are politicians we are talking about, not saints. Politicians are one step below televangelists and one step above used car salesmen.
Thank you for this post.
I will reread.
Grace and Peace.
We should go with Bachmann, although Gingrich, Perry and Santorum are honorable mentions
State-controlled media has run out of flavors-of-the-week, so they have to resort to recycling.
Michelle lost me with her unbiblical quote: “What happens when you turn 999 upside down?” Anyone who misuses Scriptures for personal gain will never rise to the top.
Spare us, O Lord
I much prefer someone with executive experience.
This whole article is so poor on so many levels. I wouldn’t normally reply but whoever wrote this should not be pitching God and things of God around so he could make up a situation that didn’t exist (how many of you evangelicals knew that we all had buyer’s remorse about a woman being president and that maybe it wasn’t right? Oh please.) so he could say Michelle will come back now that we all know that God okays it. The writer should stop using God’s Word to set up his political musings.
I am a conservative evangelical Christian, and hang around with the same. We’ve had numerous political debates together.
I’ve never even heard anyone question whether a woman could be a president.
This is a non-issue with Christians, be they evangelical or otherwise.
Not gonna happen.
Interesting analysis.

She’s so intelligent. She was being cute. Maybe not to
your liking, but it was a joke. We can joke about scripture
if it’s not offensive. It’s OK !!
She lost me specifically because she was joking about an issue that is dead serious. Yea, that's right, lets all be cute while our country is going down the tubes because virtually nobody in DC is willing to take it serious. It would possibly have weight if she had issued a bold new plan instead of the typical constant tinkering around the edges as politicians have the awful habit of doing.
Then to make matters worse, she calls it a VAT, which it is in no way associated with or administered as a VAT would be. I still find it amazing that her campaign serves up issue statements about something said in a debate long before the debate has concluded. Because they are not permitted to have smart phones at the podiums, who is running that ship? It still has the stench of Ed Rollins because his people are still the ones advising her and also apparently running her campaign.
At least Cain is running on his own convictions and is adult enough to rise, fall and learn from his mistakes.
It was offensive, because its intent was to taint Herman Cain. The Bible is Holy Book, fodder for mailious jokes.
The incident demeaned Michelle's character. It put her on the level of the David Letterman.

MB is my fav. I hope you are right.
There’s actually another woman out there I could more easily see taking out bad guys by hammering tent pegs through their heads. If you know who I mean and I think you do.
