“Evolution theories are still evolving”
Of course they are. What’s the news in this?

"Humans are descended from a fish-like animal with a 'sixth sense'" ... So does this mean that fish came from the constellation Orion? Psychic Sea Creatures From Outer Space. Orion? Nah, I'm thinking the Pleiades.

Could be a good popcorn thread. ;-)Might want to lace that butter with a little antivenin.
To: SuzyQue
That’s why they call them theories. Its certainly no big deal.

What scientists tell you today is absolute fact.
What they told you yesterday, just forget it.

I don’t have religious problems with evolution. But I do have scientific problems. It just doesn’t make scientific sense. The statistical odds against it are astronomical.
So, we even get scientists coming up with an “infinite number of universes” theory, just to get over THAT little problem.
Just to ask one simple question, how on earth does a creature evolve and develop wings? Wings are an advantage, certainly, but how about all the intermediate stages? What’s the advantage in half-sized wings? Quarter sized wings? They are an extra burden until the point where they actually work, so how on earth could natural selection favor them?
The same with every other aspect of the physical body of any animal. And that doesn’t even get into the deal breaker—the complexity of numerous constituent organic compounds at the cellular level, more than a dozen of which already have to exist (without any purpose) so they can come together and produce even a one-celled creature?
None of it makes sense.

The nice thing about theory's is that they don't need evidence or facts. (Messy things, facts.) Evolutionary theory's can perpetually evolve, as long as there are grants to feed them.

Could be a good popcorn thread. ;-) Not really, this one is probably one of the more lamest anti-evolution articles ever found here, but oh well, at least while they are posting here they are not out there in the "real world" scarring regular people away from Conservatism

Just to ask one simple question, how on earth does a creature evolve and develop wings? The simple answer: By being created with the ability to evolve.

Science is constantly evolving. Is this supposed to be news?

What scientists tell you today is absolute fact. What they told you yesterday, just forget it. And that right there is science. The problem as I see it is, scientists don't want to confuse you so they may continue to tell you something all the while knowing the scientific evidence doesn't support what they say. The only thing we can do is look at all the evidence ourselves.

None of it makes sense. There's a lot of science behind the TOE. Still, just because there's a lot of science behind the TOE that doesn't mean we evolved from common ancestors. After looking at all the evidence I'd say there are two potential theories:
- creation
- punctuated equilibria
For me the evidence makes sense for the above two options and not phyletic evolution.

It's a fallacy to equate those who post anti-evolution articles as those who scare people away from Conservatism. It's quite possible to be conservative and not buy into the TOE.

Aliens inseminated apes. We are the result. It was the best they could do. Aliens inseminated apes Neanderthals. We are the result. It was the best they could do to destroy the natural, divinely made link between heart and mind that created Paradise.
