In the not so distant past, there was a very good use for tar, feathers, and rails. Perhaps that time has again arrived.

Yep. Split-rail fences are not all that common these days, though... not even in Texas. I'm sure those "landscape timbers" at Home Depot would do nicely in a pinch.

There's a great "tar and feathers" scene set at the port of Boston in the John Adams miniseries. John disapproved, but Sam just smiled.

C’mon guys, this is the twenty first century. Epoxy glue and packing peanuts. Instead of riding them out of town on a rail, stuff them in the trunk of a Volt.
