I have a few questions about his decorations. He wears the Army GCM yet is a commissioned officer, so he must’ve been enlisted at some point in his illustrious career. His hat has a “50-Mission Crush” yet he doesn’t have any aviators’ badges. When I was in the USAF we were awarded the Army GCM because at that point (1963) the Air Force hadn’t issued its own GCM.
