Heres what we learned from Herman Cains appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night: sexual harassment allegations can be funny and the elusive Mrs. Cain is, in fact, a Democrat.
My wife is a Democrat, but that doesnt mean thats how she votes all the time, Cain told Kimmel.
Not much is known about Gloria Cain, the Republican presidential frontrunners wife of 43 years. We were supposed to meet her recently, but the Cain campaign abruptly canceled a planned appearance on Fox News. Last week, the Atlanta Journal Constitution profiled Gloria Cain and discovered that not only is she a Democrat, but that she has voted in Democratic primaries and runoffs numerous times since 2000 including the 2008 presidential primary that Barack Obama won with 66 percent of the vote, according to local voting records.

That, and when he ran for our state's vice chair of Young Republican's this year, she backed him and reregistered.
Do you really think Mrs. Cain won't vote for her husband? Your 'gotcha' has no there, there.
She doesn’t even show up on the campaign trail to help her own husband. What does that tell you?
Looks to me like she would rather keep Obama in the White House, than a Republican, even if he is her own husband.
Hey, my wife used to be, too. She ain’t no more.
I could not be married to a Democrat. Just couldnt.
Understand that. But perhaps they both were Democrats but over the year Herman especially saw how awful the Democrats were and changed. It happens all the time. It can happen with Republicans too. Obviously if your wife woke up tomorrow and said she was a Democrat, you would just deal with it. It happens. If my wife woke up tomorrow and said she was a Democrat, I would be very disappointed but would not divorce her over it especially since I am totally against divorce.
Gingrich on Obamacare and the Individual Mandate
November 9, 2011
(The Weekly Standard) In his Fox News Center Seat interview last night, Newt Gingrich highlighted (from 18:30 to 21:00) that the first item on his legislative agenda is repealing Obamacare, adding, I think thatll be the campaign theme in September and October of next year.
Gingrich also addressed the individual mandate. He explained that a mandate doesnt work in part because it means more and more and more government definition of, 'What are you mandating?'
In response to a follow-up question from Charles Krauthammer about whether he opposed the mandate as a matter of policy or constitutionality, Gingrich replied, I believe that it is unconstitutional for the Congress to require you to buy something
because then the Congress could require you to do anything. Krauthammer asked, So, youre saying, in principle, its a terrible idea, even if [as a matter of policy] it might work. Gingrich replied, Yes. He added, A lot of us, in 93, as opposed to Hillarycare, thought [the individual mandate] was a less destructive alternative. The longer we dealt with it, the more we concluded it was hopeless.
(Just wait, you'll see it eventually).
She either voted for Obama or Hillary....nuff said..
Good thing we don’t vote on the First Lady.
Yawn. This is the best they got to bash Cain? LOL!
I saw that letter Perry sent to Hillary here on freerepublic. Saying he was campaigning for Hillary care is a distortion of what the letter was actually about. Anyone who is interested in knowing what this claim about Perry is all about, should read the letter. As for Herman Cain, I see a lot of people here being staunchly in favour of him while criticizing the other candidates, however, so how do people know how much of a conservative he really is? He’s never been in politics, so there’s no voting record.
Any witnesses?
You are right about Newt 100%.
I guess I would be more worried about the other candidates situational political morality then I would Cains wife.

Gingrich Backs Obamacares Individual Mandate Requiring Health Insurance
60% of women vote for the Nanny State party. It’s in their DNA. Conservative women are a rare breed in that they’ve evolved from their primordial default.
She doesnt even show up on the campaign trail to help her own husband. What does that tell you?
I like it. We all complained about Hillary being too connected to the campaign and White House. I see Anita being the same way. I want someone who is going to take the back seat in the White House. Who wants so pain in the neck always sticking her nose in things. I guess you love Michelle!!!! I particularly don’t.
Cain and his wife have been married for 43 years — if he didn’t manage to convert her by now, it’s not likely she will become a Republican now.
What!?! we don’t want democrats voting for a republican? Member now, Reagan was once a democrat, and, AND, ever hear of Reagan democrats? Dems that vote republican because they identify more with the person and his values than the party they belong to. Folks, I vote Rep all the time, but more because that’s the party where conservatives have made inroads... I’ve cursed the Republican machine when they’ve called wanting my money... telling them when they stop acting like democrats, then maybe I’ll consider giving... Also, most blacks are democrats, but watch how many will wind up voting for Cain, but still call themselves Dems...
You’re reading way too much into what you see. Does this little bit of information really tip the scales for you? That’s pitiful.
