What did Colin have to say about the Tea Party?
I hope I’m not late. This is the thread where I shred a four star General, NSA, and SOS and lament on what a piece of crap he is, even though he amounted to far more than 99% of us will ever be? Cool, I wouldn’t want to miss on slamming an American hero with a softball opinion he said off the cuff and without much depth cause my opinion is different than his on this single subject. Colin Powell is a great American in my book, and I’m far too young and inexperienced to give him grief. Sorta like my grandpa.
Since when does apple pie break the law, beatdown old ladies, commit assault, have TB and STDs, illegaly campout in public property, prevent people from driving or walking on the public streets, commit disgusting acts like urinated and defecating in public, die of heroin overdoses, vandalize and break windows, and promote communism and anarchy?

You know Colin, you are partly correct. You see, here in America we enjoy eating our fresh apple pie, but we do NOT let our apple pie rot.
BTW, if an apple is rotten to the core it is of no use to Society, where ever one chooses to live.
I remember feeling disappointed when Powell’s wife forced him him to bow out of the presidential race because she was afraid he’d be shot. Now I realize it is we who dodged a bullet.

He lost me when we learned he went whining to 41 about how bad we looked because of the Road to Basra news coverage. 41 pulled the string and the Republican Guard got away when the 24th had them lined up for the kill. Thanks to him, we had to do it again instead of giving the Iraqi people the chance to do it themselves.
Then to add insult to injury, he told Armitage to shut up and he himself kept mum while Fitzpatrick went on a perjury jihad which hamstrung the President at war.
