Yes, it is sad to happen to people.
There is no real “happy valley” in life. There is no perfect man. There is better places than others but there is always people doing crappy things in secret. We have all done crappy things to some degree or another in secret because we are ashamed or afraid of what people will think of us. It does not dissolve all the good things about a place, community or a person. When we insist on perfection, cover ups are worse.
Marxists have managed to cancel out the good of the Founder’s design of freedom and debase their characters and lives purely based on the fact that imperfection - including slavery - existed. They made a rule in our society that you have to throw the baby out with the bath water because it serves their demoralization and toltaltarian agenda.
“Happy Valley” should not let that happen to them nor the coach who was mostly a good guy in his life. Bad things happen and we have to deal with that, recover and move on better. But for right now, the community is shocked, confused and hurting. :(
