I've been following the events at Penn State as they unfold, and like everyone, am horrified at what I've read. But there are two things that have bothered me about this story, that I'm having trouble understanding, keeping in context, and may well provide a viable alternative explanation of what happened.
Ok, I'm going to give you a very similar response to the one I gave to ftd, since it saves time and applies equally well.
Ok, buddy, right now I'm back in State College where I have people to meet and things to do, and all of this while possibly the most eventful week in the history of this town is going on in the midst of a national media firestorm, and while I and many others are trying to make sense of this debacle. So right now, posting on an anonymous internet forum isn't on the top of my to-do list.
If you're gonna say asinine stuff like that and post about me behind my back, I'm not going to waste my time arguing with you.
If you read that report and you still don’t know, you are either dealing with a psychological problem or a reading comprehension problem.
Joe knew the pervert raped a boy. Joe did not expose the truth to the public and the supporters of the second mile foundation. He left that monster to rape boys.
Sorry. It’s hard to come to grips with this ethical failure concerning someone who you respect and highly regard. But it’s important that the lying and excusing stop now. Joe knew. He had the authority, voice and power to ruin the pervert’s operation and rescue a lot of boys (20 have come forward so far now. He did not act to do that.
Here’s an interesting interview with John Ritchie that puts light on men’s difficulty in coming to grips with what happened:
Check out this interview with Jon Ritchie on his own reaction to McQueary’s shock. He pretty much says he would have bolted too and explains why.
First off, I’m not your buddy; I don’t even know you except through what you’ve posted here. Secondly, if you’re now too busy to post your misleading drivel here, I’m happy with that!

Ok.
