This doesn’t shock me. Romney cannot compete with Cain. Now he has to play dirty.

Romney will not get my vote. I will write somebody in if I have to.

I thought the whole Cain issue smelled like a Romney attack from the beginning. He seems like he can be a real ahole when pushed. What Romney wants, he gets - or at least that’s the attitude he exudes.

Digg a little deeper. Are we likely to see that this person also donated ro Karl Rove’s American Crossroads PAC?

So if Citizen X sends a campaign contribution to Candidate Y, that means that Citizen X “has ties” to Candidate Y’s campaign? I think that’s stretching it, somewhat.

If Romney had a nanogram of dignity
he would pull out.

Interesting but not a surprise. Romney and his supporters have to be worried about mittens inability to breakout. The man is a loser as far as being electable. Cain on the other hand is the right man at the right time.

I'm not saying this guy isn't the leak...but isn't it a little disingenuous to say a guy who donated $1000 has "ties to the Romney campaign?" If the article goes into more detail...forgive me...it's blocked here at work.

If that's the case...then I had ties to the Bush Campaign. LOL.

EVen worse....Richard Marriott was former CEO of NRA.

Richard Marriott’s Father J. Willard Marriott was BEST FRIEND OF ROMNEY’S FATHER.

Mitt is named after J. Willard.
Mitt served on Board of Marriott hotels.

Hey Mitt. Remember when your hidden earpiece went hot at the debate with McCain?...yep, it’s me, I’m the one who prayed that you would be exposed as the shallow farce that you are. Fall Mitt..fall.

Oh, Mitt didn’t personally dig up this character assassination on Cain. But I’d dig around and see if Karl Rove and Bill Kristol weren’t the instigators of this.

If any of Romney’s hatchet men were involved, he should be thrown out of the party. Those are Democrat dirty tricks.

First, I’m not a Mitt Romney supporter. But who has the most to gain out of this accusation? Isn’t it a bit too obvious that whomever made this accusation is doing it in the heat of the Republican primaries where it will be assumed by many (see above) that it came from the Romney campaign? Why does all of the media want Romney? Because they think Obama can beat him. Why screw with Cain? Because they FEAR him. So get it out there now and hope it knocks out both Romney (conservative disgust that he would do such a thing) and Cain (general disgust that he would be a “harasser”) and then use it next November.

Romney has always had a reputation for “playing dirty.” We have a talk radio host here in Indiana who is familiar with the Romney campaign. She states that she would never vote for Romney because of his dirty tactics. Cain will still get our vote. The media needs to talk about jobs....not this crap.

It isn’t Romney, it is Perry that is to blame for the smears on Cain.
