where there's smoke, there's fire. The Herman Cain Mr. Wolf and Momma Bear campaign rolls on.

Bennett is calling on the association to waive the agreement so the woman, a federal worker living in suburban Maryland, can rebut Cain’s statements this week that the allegations were false and baseless.

“It is just frustrating that Herman Cain is going around bad-mouthing the two complainants, and my client is blocked by a confidentiality agreement,” Bennett said in an interview. “The National Restaurant Association ought to release them and allow them to respond.”

On Fox News on Tuesday, Cain declined to say whether he thinks the nondisclosure agreement should be lifted, saying he is consulting with a lawyer about the possible legal implications. In a statement, the restaurant association said that it had not been approached by Bennett but that it would “respond as appropriate.”

I will post until Free Republic has so much truth about the Cain character that your eyes bleed. This is MY COUNTRY TOO. Dammit. And Cain is a DISASTER waiting to happen to it. We cannot survive another OJT disaster.

You mean like Perry? The man can’t win a debate much less an election!

” Bennett is calling on the association to waive the agreement so the woman..”

It should have been Cain calling on the association
from the beginning.
Cain should have had this all ready to go so when the question
finally came from Politico-and they gave him 10 days notice that it would -
he could have said;
“ The charges were baseless and I have asked the NRA
to waive all confidentiality agreements.
With the identity of the complainants kept secret.”
Cain is now using a variation of it depends
on what the meaning of “ is “ is
by saying he originally expressed ignorance of “ settlements “
because he only thought
there were “ agreements.”
Joel Bennett told CNN tonight that it was his understanding
that a board member of the NRA tipped off Politico.
Another pundit said that this came to light
for the board,
when they recently began discussing
whether to endorse Cain.
Some board members informed the rest of the members
about the settlements
and discouraged the endorsement.
There are 90 to 95 board members nationwide
it would have been impossible to contain
this once they all knew.

I have purposely kept quiet about Cain. I believe that I can read people pretty well since I’ve had so many years of experience with all kinds of people. There is something not “right” about Cain. I can’t put my finger on it, but there is some dishonesty in his speech and his narrative. My B.S. meter has been in the red zone concerning him. I’m still in the mode where I will write in my candidate.

Wow, you get all that from the fact that a woman whose complaint was investigated and found unsubstantiated wants to waive her confidentiality agreement so she can yammer on and maybe even lie about things that happened more than a decade ago — and, to repeat myself, which were already investigated, unsubstantiated, and she got a payoff to go away?

That's just weird.

BTW, what is that you like about Perry?

I bet you bragged about spending three years in third grade too. If I wrote that piece of trash I certainly would try to keep it a secret.

I thought two women made accusations.

The agreement should be waived, and the women should come forward to tell their side of the story.

Right now they're being called liars, trash, and every other thing under the sun. They should be allowed to defend themselves.

As I say, no details, no proof, but only innuendo and supposition.

I’d love to know the truth, too, but I don’t see any facts to back up the story, so it will be given its rightful attention.
