Falls Church, Virginia (CNN) -- Garrulous and active, 79-year-old Joy Bricker presides over her hotel suite in a manner befitting a grander home. She offers tea to the staff and media with the ease of a person schooled in proper etiquette.

Like many hotel guests, Bricker has learned to make herself feel comfortable, making her room a home away from home. Only, Bricker has called the Towne Place Suites by Marriott, in Falls Church, Virginia, home for more than 10 years.

A former pilot, the 5-foot tour de force is finally turning in her key card, as movers wait to carry off the few labeled belongings she'd brought in to room 202.

After that is Clapton Unplugged. If I had to be on a deserted island and could only pick four CDs, the third would be Pink Floyd Momentary Lapse of Reason. The fourth, Dire Straits Brothers in Arms.

Thanx ! Very excellently produced live version. It seems to me that most live versions of songs are inferior to the studio recorded version. The loud commercial in the middle of the song was a surprise bonus. ;-)

If I had to pick my favorite it would be the Pink Floyd album, ‘The Delicate Sound of Thunder.’

Yeah, that commercial in the middle really surprised me, too! Think I’ll stay with YouTube if that’s going to happen.

That would be my fifth. Shine On You Crazy Diamond. So much Pink they have their own niche. Eagles the same. Geez! I have everystuff. Guess I’ll stay away from deserted islands.
Clapton and BB King, Ridin’ With the King. More Clapton. Alan Parsons Project everystuff. Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Pleasure Dome...one side MUCH better than the other.
And just like the Hotel California live, I like the Clapton Unplugged version of Layla better than the original too.
