Give’em Hell, Herman!
Good on Cain, he didn’t flinch. It seems damned sad that anyone would have tried to do this to Cain either back then or to bring it up again now.
Call us jaded, but if you can’t show us a stained blue dress, then just get along. Your moment in the sun was long ago.
I’m still with Cain. Going all the way with Cain. No regrets.
Cain, 2012.
Hi-tech lynching in progress.
Not surprised.
Cajones rule!
It’s not going to work this time (whoever this is from). We are all the wiser watching Palin go through this and we stand behind Cain.
His support is growing with each hit. Thankfully, people are figuring out how the game is played.
What is the responsiblity of the press here? Did they have more than one source on this? Do they have someone who is willing to step forward and accuse Mr Cain?
Do they have a dress with some DNA on it?
Ok...so far the left has tried the race card on Cain. That didn’t stick. Now it’s the sexual harassment card ala Clarence Thomas. Doesn’t seem to be working....what is next?
G*& Da*& the irresponsible and malicious MSM for running with BS like this.
It is just short of criminal to cast aspersions on an honorable and decent person, for no other reason than that you CAN.
FIE!!!.
So why was the accuser paid off?
Is Anita Hill teaching a “How To Lynch A Black Conservative” course at Harvard or some other prestigious university?
Good for Cain.
I’m not on the Cain Train yet, because he makes me a bit nervous in the way he “walks back” what he’s previously said — and the Commie Press will kill him with that.
But he didn’t walk this back. Good on you, Mr. Cain. Good on you.
FRiends, I suggest this is the man for this country. Better pray for him.
My guess is he fired a couple of people, they got mad during the process and started making up BS...they were offered a standard severance and severance agreement and told to go away. The amount was upped to save from having to defend against it in court and they hung that dollar amount over their heads.. "no contract, no severance" so they took the money.
I know it sounds fishy to most people, but this is pretty common. Many businesses will choose to pay these people off even when the allegations are false simply because of the expenses they will face in court... not to mention that even when it is obvious what happened, liberal judges tend to side with former employees by default so there is a substantial risk involved if they decide to fight it. It not right nor fair, but it's a sound business decision. I really hope that is the case here and that this thing never gets any real traction. I just have a sick feeling that the media will never let this go and Cain will be deemed suspect or even guilty by the voters based on nothing more than the media repeating it for the next however many months.
Its the seriousness of the charge isn’t that what “they” tell us?
Is it a shock that the media has found former disgruntled employees who may be willing to make unsubstantiated claims?
So any time a conservative black man wants to run, or be appointed to, a higher office “they” pull out the sexual harassment card? What will it be this time? Coke or Pepsi?
The card was played once (see Justice Thomas), cannot use it again. We’re NOT that stupid.
Cain should have stepped up to the microphone and said “scuse me while I whip this out....” then pulled the statement out of his coat pocket.
Seriously, this “story” just broke but even without knowing much about it I’d bet that the complainers are white and that the people on the board were white too. This was back in the 90’s and Cain was the first president of the National Restaurant Association in 1994. At first glance it appears that the National Restaurant Association had a great guy in as president who they wanted to protect. I could be wrong but the timing on this “news” seems more than a little bit interesting....
—Note - I am not a Cain supporter...
Hmmm Cain “confirms”...
The writter could have used a different word. Confirms usually means... it happened. Unbelieveable..
