Karl Rove plays typical two-faced self serving politics. I will STAND with a proven successful American businessman anytime, even though he may lack in certain areas. Herman Cain is smart enough man to understand how to surround himself with those who are specialist and professionals in their given field of expertise, UNLIKE OBAMA. Herman Cain would be a Great Leader.
Karl Rove and the old boy network can look in the rear view mirror baby and remember the good old days, I am sick of seeing this guy and his ilk.

I could not agree more.
Rove can pound sand. He showed his true colors a long time ago. I can’t stand to watch him on Fox anymore. Click!

The Perry smear machine should be here any minute.
They are loyal losers but losers nonetheless.

Rove supported the offensive phrase “Compassionate Conservative” - Conservatism is ALL ABOUT compassion. Compassion for the individual right to pursue life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (virtue, as understood in 18th century parlance). Cain gets that, represents and supports all that. Rove - your time has passed. Hit the links and enjoy yourself. We have a nation to save.

Karl Rove is a Gramscian Communist puke.
If he supported Cain, I would be suspicious of Cain.

Yes, Rove has been ticking me off here lately, as it seems when Cain comes up, he immediately attempts to marginalize him.

I agree. I would automatically be 100% suspicious of anyone that Karl Rove would support. He’s become like a ‘reverse’ seal-of-approval for me. Along with several other so-called “Fox All-Stars” whom I’ve grown equally mistrustful of.

The 'Lamestream' media, the rino's, inside the beltway boys and political pundits of all stripes have NEVER saw Cain as a viable candidate. There has been nothing but a solid stream of reason coming from them since he announced as to why Cain couldn't be taken seriously, why Cain can't win, and as those reasons grew thinner in substance or fell apart all together they have been forced again and again to find more and different reasons as to why Cain can't win.
Why do they continue to derail Cain even as he defeats their arguments against him?
There are any number of reason, he is not a member of the insiders club for one, hes not a known career politician for another, but mostly these people just dont understand a man like Herman Cain. Not that it is entirely their fault, because men like Herman Cain are so rare these days, men of real integrity.
Its been at least 30 years since the Lamestream Media has had to deal with some of Cains stripe and they are completely out of their depths in trying to understand him, just as much now as they were then. I am not saying Herman Cain is the next Ronald Reagan, but he and Reagan share common traits and characteristic, which are far beyond these types to understand.
Herman Cain who truly was until recently a virtual unknown had faith enough in himself to decide to run for President of the United States on his own. There was no Media hype/pressure/build-up about a possible run, there was no urging by members of the Party, no words spoken into his ear by party players, elites, beltway boys or pundits, not even a word of encouragement from the Republican Party of his home state only faith in himself.
And time and time again Herman Cain has shown just what kind of man he is. Is he without faults? Hardly! No man is without his faults, but one measure of a man is how he faces his faults and Herman not only faces his faults, but admits to them, learns from them, teaches others from then and lastly he laughs at himself over them and it takes a man who is truly sure in himself to be able to laugh at their own mistakes.
Considering the great numbers of skeptics on this forum I am sure there will be a good number of FReepers who will find this post funny and stupid, but here goes: I think one of the reasons people support Herman and why so many skeptics cant see Cain for what he is can be summed up in the following lines from the 2003 movie 'Secondhand Lions'
Hub: "Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things a man needs to believe in the most. That people are basically good; that honor, courage, and virtue mean everything; that power and money, money and power mean nothing; that good always triumphs over evil; and I want you to remember this, that love... true love never dies. You remember that, boy. You remember that. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. You see, a man should believe in those things, because those are the things worth believing in."
In Herman Cain we see a good man, an honorable man, a man that has made his mark through his own effort and owes no one other than God and his Parents for his success. We see a man who did not seek money and power, but achieved them and a yet they clearly hold no sway over him.
Maybe we are foolish and gullible, maybe we have all seen Mr. Smith Goes to Washington one to many times and now think that Good really can triumph over evil. The skeptics, naysayers, elitist,'Lamestream media types dont believe in anything, but there are still some of us, many of us that choose to believe, because those are things worth believing in.

Noooo Herman! Don’t play “victim,” even if it is true. Rise above it all and prove you aren’t the victim. We don’t want a “victim” president. We already have one of those. We want an in-charge President. You ARE that man.. don’t mess that up.

That's what Rove does to all conservatives, Hermann. He's a POS of the lowest order.

"Rove strongly denies Cains charges. Herman Cain is the one giving the Democrats material for attack ads, Rove said in a phone conversation Monday afternoon. I want the strongest nominee to emerge from the process. I have no personal favorite. Fox expects me to call balls and strikes as I see them.
Apparently calling "balls and strikes" doesn't involve being honest about the failures of Romneycare, giving illegals healthcare, Romney's views about "global warming", flip-flopping on abortion...

Whining ill becomes a serious presidential candidate. Cain could have said something like he understands how the professionals don’t understand his kind of campaign but the people do, and turned this to his favor. This instead just makes him look like a crybaby.
One more rookie mistake for the list.

lLast week I got all upset when I flipped by Fox news and Rive was putting down Cain. Basically he was saying the Cain had peaked and he would be going down hill and that it would be Romney and Perry. he jumped on Cain over various things. I felt he was way too harsh, just like with Christine O’Donnell. Can say I dislike him.

You guys have been saying it for a long time now, but I could never accept that Rove would not balk at hurting the party just to advance an establishment candidate. Not until now, that is.
This stuff just pushes me more and more to believing the that whole world is run by a small group of conspirators.
