There’s nothing in Catholic or Jewish beliefs that can be referred to as “doozies.” Mormonism was the bad dream of a flaky self-proclaimed prophet who started his career by looking for gold through a “magic” crystal in the bottom of his hat. It’s a syncretist religion that is a mixture of 19th century table-rapping spiritualism, apocalyptic revivalism, and truly strange things which, just as in Islam, always seem to involve the right of the head of the religion to get lots of sweet young things to be his “wives.” It was also a theocracy, and in fact had to be made to back down by the US Army because it was attempting to apply its law to parts of the US.

None of these things can be said about either Judaism or Catholicism.

Livius .....

you really should get out a little more...

What about the “Doozie” that in 322AD a then non-christian Emperor Constantine dictated major portions of the Nicene Creed which forever after changed Christianity. Constantine then coerced the creed attendees to accept the resultant creed or face banishment.

Interestingly, at his baptism 20 years latter, Constantine accepted baptism as a anti-nicene christian.

half a decade latter, Thoedosius II assured the complete coercian of the Nicene Creed by making unbelievers subject to execuation.

The funny thing, is the Nicene Creed was on its way to the ash heap of history, when Julian the Apostate resurrected it in an attempt to destroy Christianity by turning the Christians on themselves.

Basically, your description and understanding of what is eternal truth vs “doozies” is remarkable in its ignorance.
