For those of you who have never been to the distillery it is a kind of odd place to make whiskey in that the county is dry. You make all the whiskey you want. You just can’t buy it or consumme it there. The same thing happens all over bourbon country in Kentucky. Always wondered why. Strange liquor laws for sure.

At one time only about three counties were wet in Ky. Down in Bowling Green the city was wet and the county was dry. Nelson County is where most of the distilleries are at and it’s dry.
