I haven’t decided who I will vote for, but Mr. Cain at least cares about cutting the taxes we have to pay and get rid of the IRS. He is the only one who seems interested enough to make suggestions.
How about the complainers about his 9 9 9 plan, come up with a different one which is better.
Because its a lot easier and more fun to criticize other peoples ideas, and a lot safer too since you are not subjecting yourself to criticism if you propose your own idea. Cain is very bold in proposing this knowing what would come down on him because of it, while the others skate, and that shows his great integrity.
It's so much easier to criticize then to come up with your own solutions.
IMHO if the income tax is not eliminated completely then Cain—or whoever—can just stop with thinking we’re okay with adding another tax.
Cain needs to explain his “999” plan this fully—with more than “go to my website”—or we need to recognize that his 15 minutes are just about up.
Sorry—but this election is too important to get it wrong. We may need to thank Cain for shining a light on this issue AND turn to someone who can articulate it and fix it.
I haven't complained publicly, but I think spending should be addressed before tax discussions take place.
My 9-9-9 plan:
1 - Of all government programs, departments, etc., completely eliminate 9% of them a year for 9 consecutive years.
2 - Of the programs, departments, etc., that are left, cut 9% of their annual budget for 9 consecutive years.
3 - of those left, cut their employment/staff by 9% a year for 9 consecutive years.
I like that Cain is putting forth an idea - BUT - how about focusing on cutting government rather than some new creative way to forcibly take money from the people.
