You may remember this fellow who had an epic meltdown at an Occupy Wall Street rally:
Edward T. Hall III.
...He is also attending Columbia University, an Ivy League college. In fact, I was able to track down his college profile on http://columbia.academia.edu/, accompanied by this picture:
Under the "about" section, he writes of his interests:
I study intertemporal choice with respect to environmental decisions. I wish to develop socially based interventions to help moderate excessive discounting. I am also especially interested in the organizing of research information for public use, and open access use of ideas for problem solving...
You may also know that Hall was arrested for trying to "crawl through the baggage carousel" at JFK airport. For whatever reason, an author thought this illegal action was just grand, so he sat down with the trust-funder and conducted an interview. It went about how you'd expect.
Here is the very beginning of the interview (emphasis mine):
Zachary Urbina: First, what were you thinking?
Ted Hall: Ha ha! I wanted to spend a little more time with Maya. The universe conspired for this to happen.

Another Jared Loughner wannabe.
A cheap shot a Walmart?
His family must be justifiably proud
Put this kid on suicide watch
Sounds to me like he’d probably fit very well into any number of government agencies with clear thinking like that.
Sounds like a guest from Coast to Coast AM.
The world will end.
This I know
For Art Bell has
told me so.
Bring back the draft.
Beyond that, this guy is a typical liberal hypocrite. “For me, but not for thee.” Hope you enjoy the trust fund you POS!
too bad they didn’t just let him ride the baggage conveyor, would have got a real awakening as he went thru the sorters.
The Trustafarians who hate the system that created wealth for billions of people.
“Intertemporal choice” sounds very important.
Very, VERY important.
I see the balderdash terminology of Academe hasn’t changed
much since the 60s, (when at least it MADE SENSE).
Same eyes as this commie...
The usual metaphor is “mortgaging our future”. “Excessive discounting” means we are disregarding the future cost of environmental destruction. “Socially based intervention” means complete government control of the economy.
I say FREE MUSIC LESSONS TO ALL!
BTW, I'd love to send these American Commies to a real Commie Country like Cuba, or the former Soviet Union permanently. I would love to watch them survive with none of the things they love so much like their iPADS, PC’s, cell phones, and free speech.
It's easy to be a Commie supporter when you're enjoying the comforts of capitalism. When you're forced into this ideology and have all of your goodies taken away...well, that's a different story.
What a wanker.
Boy this guy sure gets around

To hell with that; the faster he removes himself from the gene pool the better off we will all be.
I just hope he never has the chance to breed, one of him breathing my is one to many.
Something about people whose eyes are just a tad too far apart, in my experience.
Even trust kids are not immune.
