The police are obviously bored and have little to do. If I were a taxpayer in that town, I would want to see their budget substantially cut.

?? So they have a Protect Your Property Law on the books?? If not how can you “warn” someone?? But it is really nice to know that this town has no crime, no outstanding warrants etc.....
