Iran Spits in Obama’s Outstretched Hand
The Silent Majority ^ | 10-13-11 | J.D. Longstreet

It was bound to happen. Just like Jimmy Carter, Iran sensed another weak US President and gave Obama the back if its hand.

The unfortunate truth is – Obama will react to Iran’s attempt to murder the Saudi Ambassador and bomb the Saudi embassy and the Israeli embassy pretty much the same as Jimmy Carter reacted to the taking of American hostages in the US embassy in Tehran during his administration.

Already the Obama administration is calling for an international response to Iran’s latest plot against the US. WHY? It strikes me as more of the “It Takes A Village” philosophy. And it will work just about as well, too.

Already our illustrious Secretary of State is calling for international condemnation of Iran. What’s the matter, Hillary? Is the US not big enough to take care of itself?

No doubt Obama will threaten Iran by sending a letter of condemnation to the mad mullahs in Tehran. Oh, and to show just how angry, and how serious Obama really is — he will most likely seek more sanctions on Iran. We all know just how well the existing sanctions have worked, right?

“We will work closely with our international partners to increase Iran’s isolation and the pressure on its government and we call upon other nations to join us in condemning this threat to international peace and security,” our esteemed Secretary of State said on Wednesday. Wow! That ought to really put the fear of God in ‘em, right?

Just how out of touch with reality is the Obama administration? Well, Vice President Joe Biden gives us a hint when he said the following in an interview:

As in the Libya situation, The Obama Administration [Obama] prefers followship to leadership.

If France will go first ...
If England will go first ...
If Germany will go first ...

This is simply the Ministry of Propaganda announcement for the Obama reelection strategy as outlined by that great liberal Fidel Castro:

I am now reading Winston Churchill's THE SECOND WORLD WAR. There is simply no way to read this book and not have it conjure parallels to today's confrontation with Iran.

We have had for sometime evidence that Iran is responsible for arming, training, and inserting agents who have killed our soldiers in Iraq. This is an act of war, AND IT HAS BEEN ALLOWED TO GO UNPUNISHED.

If the evidence pans out that Iran played even a small enabling role in this more recent act of war, then we must not dawdle.

The bombing of their nuclear facilities would be appropriate, justified, and effective. The failure to retaliate in a belligerent manner to inflict a degree of pain will simply be an invitation to strike us when they feel the time is right.

Our inactions to al-Qaida’s provocations sent an invitation which resulted in 3000 dead on 9-11. When 7th-century minds read weakness, and trust me, they will read sanctions as weakness, they see it as a reason to strike.

I had felt that since Iran saw us take down two countries in exchange for two buildings, that they would take heed and perhaps leave us alone. This uncovered plot indicates we are indeed dealing with maniacs, and we need to act in swift, unilateral, and unapologetic fashion.

“...and we need to act in swift, unilateral, and unapologetic fashion.”

Absolutely right.

This is why, I think, the U.S. wanted a high level military man as CIC. Who understands the real world better than those who’ve been in the trenches all along?

Thought I read somewhere that this”plot” was known since early JUNE.

Questions are why now is it a big deal and does he really think he gets a sympathy vote out of it? Is he looking to foment international incidence to divert attention from his and euro’s failures?

This ain’t passing the smell test for me. I don’t like Ammahandjob but something here isn’t right....

Great set of books.

Note Winston on defeating the Nazis

1. Destroy their oil refineries

2. Destroy their electrical production and distribution

3. Destroy manufacturing capacity starting with ball bearing factories...

Seems to me Obama also read the book.
