Prayers up!
My prayers are up for you.
Does it comfort you to know that this same thing happened to a friend of mine in the 1990s? She has perfect vision today.
God Bless You. I am thinking about you.
Prayers that the doctors and others who care for you are guided by the Lord’s loving Hands, and that you have a speedy and complete recovery, your eyesight regained and that you are made whole. To God be the glory. Amen!
prayers lifted for sight restoration and success with reattachment surgery — and for relief from angst

Bob, I’ve not had any experience with surgery, but you are in my prayers.
Though I’m not too sure of my influance there’
I’ll pray and beg the GOD for your vision BOB,
GOD bless.
Oh my. Prayers that everything turns out well.
My dad had similar surgery back in the mid 90’s and it worked out well for him. May the Lord guide your surgeon’s hand and bring you restored vision!
In Jesus’ Healing Name, Amen
eye surgery these days is nothing short of amazing.
I had cataract surgery on my left eye in 1999, no problems. In 2006 I had cataract surgery on my right eye.
About a month later I had retinal detachment in the right eye and it was lazered in the office. Within a week it tore loose and they put a gas bubble in it.
The retina did not attach in the middle and about 2 months or so later they put an oil bubble in it. I lost most of the
vision in that eye and can only see light and some movement.
Then last June my left retina detached and I was taken to surgery immediately and the eye was lazered and a gas bubble was
injected.
I sat for 2 weeks with my head down looking at the floor. It wasn’t easy but I didn’t like the thought of not doing it.
The surgery was successful and I can see very well out of my left eye. I am thankful every day that I can. I will pray for you and your doctor.
I am 69 and am on oxygen for COPD and none of the doctors I saw would say whether or not any of that or the meds I take was a contributing factor.
If you have to sit with your head down I would suggest audio books as a way to help pass the time. It really helped me a lot.
Good luck and God bless.
trebb, I will be praying for in as you head in to surgery again and during the procedure. May God hold you in his loving hands.
It's pretty scary to be without sight. Every hobby and pastime I have depends on my sight. I sat at home and listened to the TV for several months wondering what I was missing.
Dear Lord in Heaven, please watch over our brother, Bob. May You comfort him in his time of need. Please guide the surgeon’s hands with great skill. May Our Brother be blessed with full health and the recovery of his sight. In This I Pray. Amen.
God Bless you and all the others that have offered their prayers.
God Bless you and all the others that have offered their prayers. It does indeed give me comfort - I am preparing for the worst and praying for the best - I’ll accept what God has in store and my faithful rock of a wife will help me stay grounded.
God Bless you and all the others that have offered their prayers.
God Bless you and all the others that have offered their prayers. I’m pretty pragmatic, and I have a rock for a wife - angst not so serious heading in; hopefully it won’t get me down heading out.
God Bless you and all the others that have offered their prayers.
