I have come across a piece which looks like a Mayan death mask, anyone know much about this type of possible artifact?
He responded, said if real it’s per-Columbian.
It could be real... I’ve never seen a mask from that region that is elongated like an almond. Most I’ve seen are more squarish. But I’m not an expert by any means.

Turns out it was real, had a professor look at it, he was blown away.
That’s interesting. Now take it to the Antiques Roadshow and get it appraised. You might end up on the show.
From what I know we can by pass them.
