If Obama was all we had to look forward to, I would agree with you. Cheer up folks, America’s brightest days are still ahead.

Then why do vacuums make so much noise?

I have to agree. We have no one in charge here. Obama was elected but the real President is Soros/Jarrett/Muslim Brotherhood. They all have special interests; none of which are for our benefit. Congress is chock full of jellyfish and the Senate is full of sharks. The Supreme Court has decided they don't want to be the sentinel that fires the shot across the bow so they refuse to hear the case that could unravel it all.

Yep, it deserves a thread.

Skulls full of mush have me worried for the future. Obama’s election just proved the inability of the masses to apply reason.

It also proved that we didn’t work hard enough last time around, so we will work harder this time. :) Let’s turn a wake into a party. I’m ready to take back America from those “skulls full of mush”.

Totally agree. To me it is THE story of our times.

I don’t know who you’re listening to, but I am hearing people sick and tired and yes, angry, about where we are. We are going to take America back and it is going to be exciting. That is unless we wish to wallow in pity with a gloom-and-doom attitude. A gloomy message never deserves a thread, it only deserves to be rebutted. ;)

Mitt Romney is the nominee. Obama wins a 2nd term. Prepare for it. And I do not post this as a Hope, but as a dire warning to be heeded by those wise enough to hear it.

My comment referred to the current state of disrepair in Washington. I realize that everyone is hypersensitive today because of Palin's 'NO' yesterday but I assure you, I'm not wallowing in pity, nor do I have a gloom and doom attitude.

Since the post was placed in the "bloggers and personal" thread category, I see nothing wrong with a thread discussing how people feel about the current situation and the current crop of candidates. I'm not about telling people what they can and can't post, nor am I about telling people what they can or can't feel. If I were, that would make me prime for DU.

You don't see Hillary coming in? She does look quite spent and seems uninterested. Bill 2.0? Bush 3.0? Gotta think outside the box these days. And as far as legal election requirements, I think those have become quaint footnotes to history.

I’m glad to hear it. I’m a sunny-side-up person so I hate to see people depressed. I can also rub people the wrong without meaning to becuase of it. ;)

This is a pet peeve of mine, so please humor me.

Marxists change language. Americans are referred to as citizens or “the public” and in Karl Marxland - in the former Soviet Union and China - the population is “the masses.”

Be a rebellous refusnik. Reject communist re-education and history revision. We are the public or citizens. The poor Chinese are “masses.”

Thanks. :)
