I find it funny the standards we hold the most Conservative declared candidates but we bypass the ‘establishment’ candidates with. With Cain, Santorum, or even Bachmann, we reject them for some stupid wording issues we disagree with on a response (that really is a statement on the media and not Cain) but some demand we overlook major broken legs in the platforms of other candidates.
And MN, you are right, there has been a major misrepresentation of the 999 as a VAT. They are completely different.
They are different and I semi support 999. But I do agree that the message on 999 is sort of misplaced. I can see the slippery slope of added taxes and it is a pipe dream anyway as it will never pass congress. I could use a better argument from Cain as 999 is not that inspiring so far.
