Still not an official contender for the GOP presidential nomination, the speculation that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie may run and the push to get him to run goes on. According to the Newark Star Ledger, Mr. Christie is seriously rethinking whether or not to throw his hat into the ring. Meanwhile a new poll shows the governor is essentially tied with President Barack Obama in a hypothetical 2012 matchup.
Those poll results confirm what many prominent Republicans have been telling him. Mr. Christie's alleged change of heart has come after recent prodding from (among others) former First Lady Nancy Reagan, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and former President George W. Bush. It's been reported that those individuals have convinced the man who only recently claimed he wasn't ready for the top job that not only could he win, he has what it takes to be president. And they should know.

“O’s” Presidency has lowered the bar so drastically, Americans need to be re educated on what ‘President material’ is.
To me, any one of the Conservatives challenging each other for the nomination (except Paul) is a worlds better option than what we have now.
America deserves better and has been systematically and intentionally conditioned to accept the extremely mediocre. Leadership is possible and necessary. Nothing can take its place. Americans have to know this by now.
It amazes me how the legacy media and the Republican elites keep foisting these North East liberal Rebublican RINOs on us. Do they think we really believe any of this BS?

I’d love to see him run. He’ll never get the nomination and he’d damage the Myth as another super RINO. We need more RINO’s running to split the vote.

Well if they try to squeeze Christie onto the debate stage I’m gonna need a new TV with a higher aspect ratio.
As do a great many people. Unfortunately, the current occupier of the white house is NOT one of them nor are the various candidates who might actually get elected.
He’s not even popular in NJ.
