What good is a gas mobile when there is no Gas? Or if the gas costs too much?

wait a few years when the current buyers of these toys find out they have to spend another few thousand dollars to get rid of them....it’s not like the batteries can be tossed out, sooner or later, the gubment is gonna figure out a way to soak them again.

If we get rid of Baraq and the Dem senate we can have all the electricity we want.

And the onrushing glut of nat gas is going to fuel a sh!tload of electric production AND mobile transportation usage.

Battery powered stuff is junk. Even if we had a perfect electricity delivery system with no hiccups, it still takes 11 to 13 hours to charge the best electric car made today. The Nissan has 100 mile range in perfect conditions. Once you are out of juice, you are done for the day. Who needs the hassle.

So if more people had solar cells or wind mills to produce their own electricity we would not need to depend on these power lines?

What burns me up is that it’s been 25 years since the Back To The Future movies and we still don’t have nuclear-powered cars.

Yes, but why do you need to drive if you don’t have a job?

When there is a major power failure gas cars can't go anywhere after they run out of gas because all the gas pumps are electrically operated. It will become a greater and greater problem as the coal fired plants are shut down around the country. The Republicans will not stơp the process when they get the presidency next year because it is being done on an EPA initiative and the Republicans do pretty much nothing about the bureaucracy when they get control. They get into position of control of things, the congress and the presidency, but they don't take control. They are satisfied that the Bureaucracy is the actual government and they are not inclined to interfere. The EPA and other agencies now know and are used to the idea that they can do pretty much what they want without congressional authorization. They will not stop just because the Republicans win the Presidency.
