Very sad. Hopefully with the publicity they will find a decent home. You would think the trainer could have made much better arrangements than to throw them away...

If they were near me, I’d give them a home. I have an old pound puppy that is 13 or 14 now.

Remember Buddy and Socks? Thanks to advisor Dick Morris, Buddy was hit by a car at that phoney NY. home for Hitlary’s
Senate run and Socks died of cancer at a Clinton secretary’s home. Thank toe sucker Morris for the pet advise.

Note that this has nothing to do with "Hollywood", per se. The film makers used what appears to be a reputable animal trainer who provided the animals, and they appear to have been well taken care of. The trainer/owner is the one putting the animals in a shelter, not the film makers. You'd think he'd have been able to go with a private sale, but a) this is the UK, and who knows what strange laws they have on the subject, and b) given the dog's notoriety from the movie, he probably assumed a shelter would be able to place him quickly.

Hopefully the poor dog will find a good home soon.
You would think that the trainer would have at least tried to sell him. Surely there are Harry Potter fans willing to part with cash to be able to say that they have *THE* dog that appeared in one of the movies.
