Well, that is the traditional feminist, man-hating line. Hey, it’s not the men that started it all with bra-burning. It’s the women that wanted sexual equality, sexual freedom, unlimited and free access to before and after birth control, and on and on.
Save your congratulations for the feminists -- this is their doing.
It was women who demanded "sexual freedom". It was women who railed against "being judgmental" over a woman's sexual choices. It was women who demanded fast and easy divorce on demand. It was women to demanded that courts bend over backwards to favor women in matters of custody and child support.
Women tilted the playing field in favor of women so far, that marriage became less and less attractive to men. Marriage has higher costs for men these days, in terms of risk of being financially and emotionally raped in divorce court. Meanwhile, men can get women to sleep with them and live with them without marriage.
