Why would these women be so eager to turn themselves in "second-hand goods?"
Many women spend their twenties chasing after "Prince Charming", or the "bad boy" Alpha Male. One big problem: the Alpha Males represent a small percentage of the available pool of men, so they have multiple women chasing after them. This gives them the option of moving on when a woman loses her eagerness to please and starts demanding commitment.
Then, in their thirties, women start looking at the second-tier men that they scorned in their younger days, looking for secure marriage material. But why would these men be enthused at the prospect of marrying a woman who had spent the prior ten or more years being the sperm receptacle for a legion of bad boys? Is she going to transform into a faithful wife, or is she going to use him for security, and cheat with passing Prince Charmings on the side?
