Speaking at the Congressional Black Caucus annual awards dinner in Washington Saturday night, President Obama made a verbal boo-boo.
While defending his call for the rich to pay more in taxes, the president said he didn’t mind people calling him a class warrior for merely asking a billionaire to pay the same tax rate as a Jew. Whoops!
The president meant to say “janitor” instead of “Jew,” and he immediately corrected himself. After all, he doesn’t need any more problems keeping Jewish voters enthusiastic about his re-election bid.

My thoughts precisely. The way Hussein constructed the sentence (even assuming he really did mean "janitor" instead of "Jew") it makes no sense -- why would he want billionaires to pay the same tax rate as a janitor? There is no doubt he meant to say "billionaires should not have to pay the Jew/Janitor tax rate." ....meaning he thinks that Jews somehow swindle their way into paying lower tax rates than their incomes call for.

Well, everybody knows that most of the janitors in this country are Jews from Mexico.
It is Bushs fault. He called up Barry and asked him to say Jew 100 times and then give the speech.
It difficult to imagine saying Jew when one meant to say Janitor. The words don’t even have the same number of syllables. Must have been wandered off teleprompter, but lets move on and look at lesser gaffes from Palin or Perry.

I think he meant to let slip the word Jew, and pretended to backtrack to keep it civil. Think about the audience and how the “Jew tax” comment would play with them.
