The three states with the greatest percentage increases in illegal immigrants (California, Texas and Illinois) are states that offer a welcoming atmosphere and most goodies.
States like Arizona, which don’t have a welcoming atmosphere (see Jan Brewer and Sheriff Joe) and are cutting benefits are seeing illegals moving out.
I worked mowing lawns, raking leaves and shoveling snow as a kid making money to buy my school clothes or to buy myself something I REALLY wanted. I worked hard and could bring home more than $100 a day after a good snow storm if I had all day to work. My work was excellent and people always told me to come back and do it again after the next storm. My kids would LOVE to get into doing that to make some money...but they have to battle Jose and Juan to get the job. DEPORT THE ILLEGALS!

I hate everything about the labor situation in this country today. So much so I reorganized my life to get out of that rat race.
I am not beating around the bush, I am laying out exactly what I have learned in 22 years in business. Nothing more, nothing less.
And i do not want to continue the status quo and have never said so. In fact, I have said the very specific changes I would like that would make all of this problem go away. I have simply said that this situation evolved over 50 years and that supply and demand were the guiding principle. I never said I liked it. I simply said that it WAS.
But let’s not get in a food fight. Let’s just see how things play out. And like I said, since you no doubt know plenty of folks who want these great jobs, I’m sure there will be no problems getting them filled. I bet you could fill out a list right now.
And if I’m right, I’m right. If I’m wrong, I will actually be thrilled to be wrong. I mean, I really hope to be. But I know the make up of the 10 thousand plus folks who walked through my doors over the years looking for work.
