Dennis thinks he might be toast based on his immigration answer last night.

Oh, so We get to do all the heavy lifting and you don’t get taxed at all?
Your anger with Perry and Texas on the matter is misplaced.
The BORDER is a Federal issue.
So specifically what is your argument in the IRCOT executive summary?Do you deny that illegal aliens are being given grant monies?
There is no denying that. LoL
Resist we much! LoL
Jane Long--that should have been the first clue!
I think they moved here long before that and have had the benefit of our other rewards and incentive programs.
Bingo! And that is the problem...NOT instate tuition!
Explain how you think instate tuition is an incentive...it's a lot cheaper than a year in the pen!
“AS far as I am concerned any person who ever came here illegally (and their offspring) should FOREVER be ineligible for citizenship.. They are, after all, CRIMINALS.”
Exactly right.
But Ricardo is fond of saying things like “if they come here and break the law . . . .”
They broke the law by coming here, period. I guess Ricardo means he doesn’t consider their illegal entry illegal. I guess they would apparently have to commit some heinous crime in addition to the illegal entry before he would want to take action.
Ouch!
Maybe Perry should just be Texas governor for however many terms the law provides.
As I have said, the “No heart” thing was over the top.
Bachmann got hers for going there and yet she persists.
IF and only if the state passes such a law confering aliens as residents and the granting of instate tuition rates are ALSO GIVEN TO US CITIZENS. The second part was not done because it would have been a deal-breaker in terms of revenue loss and the socialistic tendencies in granting this benefit in the first place.
How many illegals do you suppose are working right now? And here I sit looking for work every day and not able to find a job. I want the illegals gone so there are more jobs available for the Americans who are unemployed!
It was the same way when I lived there but to a lesser extent.
Now Ca has a fence.
How’s that working out?
My anger is not displaced... IF the border is Federal (it is ) there needs to be a multipronged effort to fix the problem. Texas and other states are the open door. NAIL the door shut while replacing the federal agencies and all the governmental witlings responsible for encouraging the criminals. I would love a FEDERAL Law (enforced) to cut off all tax payer dollars to any state that encourages any person to break the law (California can you hear me?)with prison for any legislator or employer or other person that can be identified as a facilitator of illegal actions. We can stop this mess if we want to...
They are making Mexico a better place to live by encouraging uneducated peasants to emigrate to the United States. These people are no longer a burden on Mexico, occupying their schools, using their hospitals or their welfare services. They have transferred their problems to the United States and the illegals even wire money back to Mexico.
Imagine if we encouraged 20 million of our uneducated underperformers to relocate to Canada, use their services and send millions of dollars back to the U.S. every week to help the U.S. economy.
All I see in that filing is that they are getting in state tuition rates.
The rest is clap trap.
displaced = misplaced... blasted fat fingers......
Again.
Immigration is a FEDERAL MATTER.
Ironically, it may help him in Florida, but I’m in Florida, and I ain’t buying it.
LOL,
Why don't you stop beating around the bush.
Your posts seem to clearly indicate that you are heavily connected with one or more businesses that you feel need illegal immigration to survive and/or to make the profit margins you have determined that you need.
Stop pussyfooting around it, and just lay it out on the line.
Surely you have some arguments (other than insulting American workers) for what you want to continue, i.e., the status quo on illegal immigrants.
Stand tall, argue your positions out in the open as a businessman who wants the cheapest labor (well, let's say, from your perspective, the most cost-effective labor) he can get.
Come on, you know you want to shout it out, so -- let it rip.
It hasn’t worked out so far. Actually I can’t tell the difference between the two. We got obummer. McCain would have been more of the same.
They ARE given to US citizens!
