When I was assigned to write a about tomorrow’s ”Day of Rage,” organized by the likes of ACORN Founder Wade Rathke and SEIU’s Stephen Lerner I resisted it mightily. I heard a grumble in my lower intestine and a silent yell, “Nooooooooo, don’t make me, puhleeeeeze!”
I knew the cognitive dissonance and just plain idiocy of a group that regularly claims to be more “tolerant” and “compassionate” than the rest of us and then incites hatred and chaos in order to declare themselves entitled to what other people earn, would put me dangerously close to head-exploding territory.
Then, I settled down enough to read and hear what they’re saying and planning to do tomorrow, just a week after the tenth anniversary of 9-11 and only blocks from Ground Zero.
They want to “occupy” Wall Street, they say, and hope to persuade 20,000 people to set up tents and live “for months if possible.” (don’t they oppose homelessness?)
They want to “choose good companies to hate” so as to “bring down Wall Street.” That’s rich. Ummmm, well not rich anymore is what they hope.
They accuse Wall Street of a “banking Jihad.” I always knew the teller at my local bank had a machete in his cash drawer. But wait a minute…head pressure is rising…
They want to compare the evil that declared war on this country and disintegrated the lives of more than 3000 people to the free market in question (under direct attack as we speak) where those same innocent people worked at their desks attempting to support their now broken families?
Is it a coincidence that people like Ward Churchill likened the victims to “little Eichmanns….?”

It is the dress rehearsal for civil discord and anarchy which the Liberals plan in the very near future, when the Conservatives remind them that the US has a TWO party system
They do realize that the stock market is closed on Saturday right? Why not have their day of rage when the market is open, unless they know it is going to be a bust and don’t want the briefcase brigade to laugh and throw coffee cups at them.
Perhaps to them, every day is a weekend when they are living on the dole.

I can’t understand why “ragers” would want to attack the liberal enclave of NYC.
Why not go to rural Texas or similar where the truly bad guys are?

Yeah! Wall street is so boring. Could get real interesting in a Chinese sort of way if they came to rural Texas.

Still praying that few will show up. Also praying that it will be a disinterested group that will not deface/destroy property, but if they do, that they make more than just Republicans upset at their behavior! Maybe we should let the world see that the Left is really the most hateful bunch of useful idiots around! I also pray that those who are forced by their unions to participate will decide to drop their membership at the first opportunity...and vote Republican in 2012.
I will bet that no matter how few show up, the media will paint it in a positive light.
They want two days for their antics during which the police can ignore them. I think they will be gone by Monday.
If they start doing something on a weekday, in any sane society they'd be washed off the street, or tear-gassed, or shot with plastic bullets - and whoever remains alive would be jailed.
