President Rerun schedules another Rose Garden finger-wagging session

Time for President Obama to wake up and look like he’s doing something about jobs again!

Today, he’ll take to the Rose Garden with “teachers, police officers, firefighters, construction workers, small business owners and veterans” —read Big Labor supporters with a few non-union tokens tossed in —as he wags his finger again at Capitol Hill to pass the jobs bill.

Which, er, he’ll finally get around to sending to Capitol Hill later tonight.

President Rerun will be quite busy this week, rehashing his warmed-over porkulus plan across the country.

President Obama will again press Congress to pass his American Jobs Act during a Rose Garden event on Monday morning.

A White House official said that the president will send his legislation to Capitol Hill on Monday evening when Congress comes back in session.

Obama has begun a full-on campaign to rally the public behind his plan in an effort to both spur the economy and put Republicans on defense.

On Friday, after unveiling his plan to a joint session of Congress Thursday night, Obama traveled to Richmond, Va. to sell his plan. The president is scheduled to continue his road show this week with trips to Ohio and North Carolina.

Bad news for taxpayers. Every time he reintroduces his recycled jobs proposals, the price tag gets higher. A few more times and the now-$450 billion plan will cost as much as the original failed porkulus.

He leaves piles that are shovel ready every time he speaks. This guy is an assclown of the first degree. America bought and paid for this joke and the joke is on us.

Oh, my God. You all know what this means, don’t you? The stock market will tank again. Every time he opens his mouth it crashes. Even Obama has to be able to see the connection by now. SELL!

Bad news for taxpayers.

They've controlled us through our wallets for generations.
Starve the beast. Isn't it time we the people started to control them though our wallets instead?

If they take - we hoard our cash.
If they back off - we spend.

This should of been Obama’s venue when giving the first speech, demanding a joint session of congress last week was over the top.Trying to make himself relevant.

The "bill" should've been ready when he came off the Martha's Vineyard links.

Can't wait for the CBO scoring. They'll probably game it like they did with ObamaCare.

Also, the White House said last week "ideas" on how to pay for it would come a week from today. Why is that not part of the bill itself?

Why is that not part of the bill itself?

They gotta pass the bill first so they can find out what's in it.
How can someone put a price tag on it before it's passed? No one knows what a bill will cost until it fails.
(You're definitely not a commie liberal, or you missed that day of training class.)

what “jobs bill” is this simpering schmuck going to “send” to Congresss?

Congress writes legislation, not the executive office
(and I use that term out of respect for the past, not present, occupant)

Federal grants now account for 25% of state and local government revenues. I think the "official" figures significantly understate the real total, particularly when you add in tax revenue from people working on federal projects.

If Obama does not get this "jobs bill" passed, cash-strapped state and local governments are going to start laying off thousands of Obama voters. Can't have that.
