Unfortunately, I suspect he really doesn't care if he is a one-term president. He has (with Congressional complicity from both sides of the aisle) done enough damage to the US that it will take generations to repair. Mission accomplished.

Try to think like Obama. You believe the world revolves around you. You are the greatest. people have puffed you up but the polls say your on a deep slide What can you do to win re-election?
1. Demonize The Tea Parties they are the core opposition now.
2. Call all opponents racists.
3. Brand all GOP runners as A) Fools B) Bible thumpers with no brains. C) Right wing Closet KKK members. D) rich greedy capitalist who hate poor people.
4. Fund and encourage a 3rd Party to split the vote—like Ross Perot did—run a Trump or Ron Paul.
5. Keep Hillary busy and out of the USA—she is the only one who might oppose him in the Democrat Party.
6. Give lots of speeches with minority support.
7. Get the media more on his side with interviews—get on TV shows like Leno, and Jon Stewart.
8. Use cross over states to make sure the weakest GOP person gets the nod (like they did to McCain) I should think Newt or Michelle B. Anyone they can destroy—and this includes Sarah Palin.

This time I don’t think it is going to work. We know too much about Obama and he has screwed things up too much.
