Paul blamed Bin Laden not "America" for the attacks. His view is exactly the same that notorious "enemy of the republic" Paul Wolfowitz, an achitect of the Iraq War. Here is what Wolfy said (emphasis mine):

Absolutely Nobama — I’m really beginning to think that you are that whacko Dondero guy who Ron Paul fired, and who regularly hits every message board possible with negative things about Ron Paul. You’ve got WAY too much of a deliberate and systematic axe to grind on Ron Paul for it to simply be “dislike” of a political candidate.
Let me repeat my answer: Paul Wolfowitz isn’t running for president. Who cares ?
