I’m sure I’m not alone in saying I can’t figure out these admonitions to ‘never forget’—I literally think about it every single day.
One of the major companies in RTP, NC is celebrating 9/11 by having their employees make up ‘care’ packages to send to needy children in Central America.
What the He!! does that have to do with 9/11??
I have never seen a single picture of the human carnage on the ground below the towers. The television media had always cleaned up our visual perspectives, even though we knew it was horrific. Even the Naudet brothers' 9/11 documentary, that came out weeks after, originally included the sound of bodies smashing on the roof of the lobby ("Those are jumpers")... a second showing editted out the sound. We were too "fragile" minded to witness the reality of what New Yorkers experienced. Finally, in a show that aired last night about the days immediately following the attack, there was footage of a few volunteers walking below the still-standing towers. One of them asked, "what's that?" and the camera panned to a red stained hunk of meat tangled in fabric. "That's a piece of someone".
I needed to see this kind of thing. I needed to experience the way it really was for my brothers and sisters in New York on that day. I don't want to just remember that the buildings fell and 1,000 people were never found...I want to have the event burned into my psyche.
I want my emotional understanding of what happened that day to be based on the Truth.

What I will never forget about 9/11, is the muzzies celebrated by cheering and parting in the streets, in the restaurants, handing out candies, uulating etc. while our non-combatant citizens were dying. Then they never appologized except with qualifiers excusing the atrocity. This was the majority, the muslim mainstream.
This I will never forget. They are savages, 7th century beings using modern technology.
The Obama White House is behind a cynical, coldly calculated political effort to erase the meaning of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks from the American psyche and convert Sept. 11 into a day of leftist celebration and statist idolatry.
Our voices need to be heard not only at Town Hall sessions or Tea Party demonstrations but in the very halls of Congress. We have to speak out to stop the desecration of September 11th.
