This guy has a lot more confidence in the Republicans than I do. Arguably, the mexican gun fiasco should have been screamed from the rooftops, and it is going to eventually whimper out. Liberals know from Whitewater, that if you obfuscate more than one level deep, the electorate's collective eyes glaze over, followed by "Look! A shiny object over there!"

The equity interest of the Kaiser family got a preference as to the right of repayment from Solyndra. Kaiser got in front of the line. He got in front of the US Government’s $528mm IOU from Solyndra. Kaiser got in front of the interests of the American taxpayer.
So Solyndra took 528 million in taxpayer money and then Argonaut (Kaiser's company) somehow arranged to get repaid before Uncle Sam.
Wonder if the FBI will winkle out any memos on how this happened? Commencing holding my breath ...

The reason for today’s raid is the same as when hilary’s aide was first to enter Vince Foster’s office — purging and sequestering evidence that would be harmful to brocko, and never letting it see the light of day. Period.
Wish I had better to say about the once-great FBI; but it’s been highly politicized (as has the CIA) for years now.

Good point...I read some excellent explanations of Whitewater, and if you read along and followed the points, it was clear there was criminal activity, and that Hillary Clinton was involved. It was easy.
But you could not boil it down and explain it to people, the way Reader’s Digest would condense a book. If you started condense it to simplify it, the explanation ran off the tracks, and you ended up getting a blanks stare with glazed eyes in return instead of “Ah! So THAT is what all the hubub is about! I get it!”
I tried a few times, and gave up. What I ended up doing was trying to use analogies, and the problem with those is they often work for yourself, but other people struggle to follow them too.
The FBI probably was sent in to gather all the evidence before someone like Issa gets his hands on it. Similar to when they were sent in to help out the AFT at Waco.
