The stress of the upcoming election appears to be getting to old Tom. I think he’s losing it.

This is where Tom Friedman lives with his rich wife. Is he really anyone to be listening to on the class warfare BS? Is this the guy who has the pulse of the people and can dismiss Palin? Blow it out your ass Tom. You are a phoney.

"it was New York Times columnist Tom Friedman who said of all the interest in the former Alaska governor, "Thats a sign of the apocalypse"... She's not even officially declared yet, and libs like Thomas Friedman are calling interest in her candidacy a sign of the Apocalypse?
What the hell is going to happen to their state of mind when she officially declares? Will they cry on camera and pull their hair out by the roots? Will they stand in the middle of the street and slice themselves to pieces with razors? Are they going to (finally) leave the country (for real, this time)?
Maybe they'll have mass "die-ins" and kill each other to spare themselves the horror of an imminent Palin presidency.
One can only hope.

Why does anybody listen to this fool, Friedman. He has been wrong about everything he has ever predicted. Friedman is one of these rah-rah Arab spring guys who are all now very mum about the pending Islamist takeover of two former US allies, Egypt and Tunisia. The Islamo-fascists are also poised to take over Libya. Well, you might ask, "Isn't that good because Gaddafi was a bad guy?" -- No, it's not good because Gaddafi had basically been neutered and all he was interested in was watching his big screen TV and playing footsie with his harem of female bodyguards.
The only person with a worst prediction track record is Paul Krugman. This < SARC> giant intellect < /SARC > was awarded a Nobel prize for economics by the same geniuses who gave Obama the Nobel peace prize for things they hoped he would do in the future.

“TOM FRIEDMAN, NEW YORK TIMES: Well, to me personally - thats a sign of the apocalypse.”
“Funny. That’s what a lot of conservatives said about all the interest in Barack Obama in 2008.”
No we didn’t. We said Obama was “a sign of the antichrist.”

FRIEDMAN: But, I mean, you know, because this woman, everything I hear from her is, has nothing to do with what we argue in our book, the long-term trends of where our country's at. There is no short-term solution. Its not just getting rid of Obama. What strikes me about this moment, David, is like, we're having an economic crisis and the politicians are having an election and there's like no overlap between the two, almost. Yeah. Its like these two circles. This comment is made by one of the "intellectual elite"? I'm just a high school graduate from fly-over country so I'll need someone to explain just what in the hell he is talking about.

How can the apocalypse be possible with his cherished Obama as President?
Friedman is admitting that Obama is a disaster, of apocalyptic magnitude!

Cool.

satan does not attack any other candidate as he attacks Palin... just another sign that I HAVE BEEN SUPPORTING THE RIGHT AND PROPER PERSON OF GOD THAT WILL SAVE THIS REPUBLIC. As Rush has ALWAYS said... the left will let us know who they fear most... and Perry isn't even close in the volume and intensity of the attacks from the left.

Well, if a secularist like Friedman really starts believing in the Apocalypse, that might be a start.
On the other hand ... he's an extraordinarily good bet to back the wrong side.

Typical over-the-top leftist hyperbole. If anything's a 'sign of the apocalypse', it's the sad fact that such a lickspittle as Tom Friedman gets so much ink in the 'mainstream press'.
Then again, maybe he is correct in one way -- Sarah Palin in the White House would be the death-knell for the Marxist's current hold on power, and signal the demise of many of their failed socialist polices here in "the land of the free".
If that's 'apocalypse', then it can't come too soon.
