“If it were given by any other candidate...”
Here’s the thing: she’s not, as of now, a candidate.
And that is why I don’t understand the point of the speech, which as good as it was and as much as I agree with the things she stated, was no Gettysburg Address.
I’m very much afraid Palin will try an independent run. I’ve said this like 3 times today, because that is my real fear.
And if she’s thinking about doing that, she may as well endorse Obama and be done with it.
Secondly, who said Palin’s speech was going to be the next Gettysburg Address? Do you live in Strawmanville, or Obamaville like the rest of us?
Unlike the “Candidates” we have now, Governor Palin took it to Obama, the Democrats, the RINO’s and the Leftist Media. Did she say everything I would have hoped she should have said, not quite, but she is speaking up for the American people, whether they realize it or not.
She runs as independent..she should be shunned
I couldn’t imagine...I’m pretty sure she has disavowed that already
but I have had enough of the stalling...genius or not
Got koi?
yep...plenty..either do it or get off the pot
get in there and fight it out like the rest of them..you will suck up the air in the room right away and it will be you and Perry..Mitt a laggard and Michelle..whom I like too..as a bank walker...
this ain’t 1979 and you ain’t Reagan yet hon...
and spare me the big money lectures..you will get it too...or you will lose
if you run
Dont worry. She doesn’t have it in her to start and finish a presidential campaign. It is a gruelling 18months or so and Palin never does one thing for so long.
Also, I must say I remain very unimpressed by the speech. I have been following Palin’s crowd here on FR (probably that is where you find them) and kept myself away from other sources intentionally, so that the only exposure I have to her is from people who love her and want her to run. So, I thought and expected to find somebody who is apparently vastly improved from 2008, who is inspring people.. but I am sorry, I was disappointed. The speech left a lot to be desired. Full of generalities, with frivolous comments thrown in here and there.. the crowd also wasn’t much to write home about.. a 1000 people maybe, coming from IA AND neighboring states. And a very white crowd.
And it is people like me she has to win over to win the presidency.
