Luv, I just found out about this tonight. I am apalled at the consequences, the intrusion, and the violation of the Fourteenth Amendment to our Constitution - guaranteeing the privacy of a home and family.
I called both my kids, and told them my recommendation was to call their electric company on Tuesday, and tell them that for health reasons, they wish to not have it installed (or get it uninstalled).
Just the fact that the results compiled (unsecured) by the electric company can be hacked into MY residence, if wanted by ANYbody - is extremely offensive to me.

I hope that report is in error, but I guess it’s always a good thing to err on the side of safety. I’m really surprised that the EPA, who love to shut down new innovations, haven’t stepped in somehow if there is a problem.
