After David Cameron criticised the BBC for its attempt to define the recent outbreaks of looting and vandalism as a reaction against public spending cuts that will not actually take place until 2012/2013 (for quite a while their reports were describing the rioters as protesters) the BBC reacted with sorrow rather than anger

My fave was when the journo interviewed the white shopkeeper who said, “Yeah my place was looted by an enormous groups of blacks who...”
“Don’t you think that’s prejudiced..?”
“What..?”
“That you said they were ALL black —surely there were whites..?”
“Well...yes the entire crowd was black, and **I** am white, so in a sense, yes the whole group was black, and then a little white.......?????!”
How about the way the judge was making an example of white looters by kicking them out of their council flats and yanking their dole?
It’s interesting that anyone would want to treat violent criminals and their victims in an impartial manner, as if there were no difference between good and evil. I will never understand those who value impartiality more than they do human decency.
