The most patriotic thing they could have done, and they did it. Good for them!
The only one authorized by the Constitution (20th Amendment) to “act as President” at this point is (maybe) Joe Biden - and that’s only if the electoral vote certification is still legally valid even though it didn’t fulfill the legal requirements since Dick Cheney did not ask if there were any objections to the states’ electoral votes.
I haven’t picked a new favorite since Davey Allison died....looks like I might have a list to choose from.
