Mr. Pauls attempt to paint Christian defenders of the free market as ardent followers of Ayn Rand might be more successful if he had bothered to give examples. Instead, he mentions Milton Friedman, Alan Greenspan, the skeptic-comedians Penn and Teller, and atheist Michael Shermer. All of these gentlemen are libertarians, but none is a Christian.
Writing for The Washington Post, Jay W. Richards, Ph.D, concludes:
The Bible isnt an economics textbook, but I and many other Christians believe its underlying principles are most consistent with the free economy. There are reasonable critiques of that opinion, but Gregory Pauls is not one of them.
And dont blame ignorance either. Gregory Paul is pathetic. Does even a dumb researcher fall on the same leftwing position ninety-nine times?
Mathematically speaking, Pauls views stretch logic. Even I dont have that much faith. Nevertheless, Gregory Paul, a so-called independent researcher in sociology and evolution, feels he has found proof, in some post-Gospel scriptures hes twisted:
[Acts] Chapters 2 and 4 state that all the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had . There were no needy persons among them. From time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need.
Au Contraire. Capitalism has nothing against voluntary redistribution of wealth. Its why conservatives love the Amish!
Second, the chapters demonstrate why religious people are better at meeting community needs than state-serving bureaucrats, through private property ownership, as Richards understands. Its why Christianity (not communism) took off Gregory!

But, but, my soul...but, but, my brain...etc. I know, words don’t do justice.
There is nothing in Capitalism that says a bunch of people can not form a hippie commune, it is just that those hippies cannot force you to using the law to join their dirty smelly commune.
good one

Socialism doesn’t as a whole involve feeding the poor, living happily together and doing great works of charity. It involves your tax money and your very flesh being used to support a ruling class that constantly demands more and more.
That is how it has always worked in practice.
Authoritarian collectivism is a Tyrannical abomination in any Free society.
It's that simple.
